House (8 beds)
The house is ideal if you want to spend some time in peace and quiet surrounded by nature. It is located in a valley, next to the lively stream Hotenjka surrounded with pastures and woods. To the west, there is a view of some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps.
The house is built in a typical (Idrija-Cerkno) style on the foundations of over a 100-year-old mill’s homestead. Modern furnished interior is divided into four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room with a dining room. Amenities enable comfortable accommodation and include a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven and a bathtub. There is a fireplace which gives the house a warm and romantic atmosphere.
Outside there is a terrace overlooking the stream Hotenjka and a fruit orchard.You can rent two mountain bikes since the location is ideal for mountain biking. You can also go hiking; a few-minute-drive away is the Idrijca river where you can find numerous fishing and swimming spots. There is also a chance of organized hunting with the local hunting association.
Nearby there are the towns Tolmin, Cerkno and Idrija, where you can taste local cuisine and get to know the history of the places nearby (you can visit the remains of the second largest mercury mine, follow the paths of the military Soča front or drive yourself towards Bohinj and then Bled on a motorail). For adventure enthusiasts there are several possibilities for water sports and paragliding. In the winter you can visit a nearby Cerkno ski resort.

Apartment (7 and 4 beds)
Two apartments, for up to eleven persons, with a large parking space, making it ideal for bikers. Easily accessible as it is located close to the main road, and at the same time only a 200-metre-walk away from the Idrijca river. The Idrijca is also very well known for its numerous fishing spots.
The attic apartment has its own entrance in a house in a quiet neighborhood. It includes a well-equipped kitchen with a dining room, living room, two bathrooms, four bedrooms and a terrace. Washing machine and a bathtub are also available. The house is located in a neighborhood about one kilometer away from the central part of the village, where there are a post office, a shop and a restaurant. It is located at the foot of the Šentviška plateau and only 200 meters from the river Idrijca, where you can relax in a peaceful nature while sunbathing, swimming or fishing. Because of its good connections and closeness to the road it can also be a great starting point for trips and sightseeing.
The nearby towns Most na Soči, Tolmin, Kobarid and Cerkno offer numerous adventures for all who enjoy adrenaline and water sports, natural beauty, history and good cuisine. On the Šentviška plateau there are some amazing biking trails taking you past farms forests and meadows. A bit more than a half an hour motorail train ride will take you to the famous Alpine towns, Bohinj and Bled. You can find a bus stop in the close vicinity of the apartment, the train station is 4 kilometers away.

The pictures didn't do the house and garden justice at all ... it is spotless and comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, wifi and even games for the kids. The amazing views are from every window in the house and the garden with its own bridge and brook is breathtaking - really something very charming and special.

We enjoyed it very much. It was a little bit difficult to find but after your help we were let to paradise! The holiday house is big enough for 8 people. The beds are good. The garden is large with a lovely creek next to the house. The surrounding is like a fairy tail.
